All the human beings have a internal force, called as "KI" in
Japanese ("Chi" in Chinese). Some people have a strong "KI" Energy by nature, and some people
have less "KI".
The "KI" needs to be taken care and to be trained, because our life depends on it.
Often we say: 'I am tired, I do not have energy',
this does not suppose a physical exhaustion, what it affects to us generally is what
is today known as stress.
Kyudokan Karate-Do is an excellent form of physical anti-stress, but much more still,
it is a generator of "KI".
The system of training in general, fundamentally the correct positions of the body
combined with the right breathing, act on a point called "HARA" that is approximately
4 cm below the navel.
This is the center of gravity and " the generating turbine "of energy of the people. This
point is called "Kandasthana" in Yoga and described as "the center of thousand
nerves".
Peace loving people such as Buddhist monks, military people such as Samurai Warriors
and normal citizens put special attention in the training of the "KI"
thousands of years ago.
"Ki" is essential for war spirit, health, study, work,
love and any daily act of the life.
